Tea for Two

One of my good friends Erin celebrated her daughters birthday, in what could only be described as a dream. I asked her if she was up for sharing some of the details with us and luckily she said yes!

Now, if you’re thinking birthday party during COVID? Eh. I get it. COVID has really managed to turn the world on its head. Nothing is normal these days. Gatherings are a huge no for most. So Erin asked herself how can I do something to celebrate Georgia. Something intimate and meaningful, yet enjoyable for that little lively spirit.

Thus “Tea for TWO” was born.

A backyard transformation that looked like a page out of a World Market Catalog. It was a whole mood.

In attendance, the birthday girl & her lovely cousin. Two little ones celebrating Georgias second birthday in a world of their own.

The first thing that stood out to me when I saw these photos was the greenery. Floral arrangements have the ability to bring a space together flawlessly. In this space, they brought a moody sense of tranquility.

Now, this rug! Another amazing piece that truly tied it all together. It’s a Boho Woven Cotton Kilim Alina Area Rug from World Market. She also got the felt garlands and cotton fringe napkins of all colors from there as well.

For the special occasion both girls wore matching rompers from Amazon. Paired with knee high socks and all. These littles ladies had the best time running amongst the beauty. Although they may never remember, their mamas always will.
